Fetch Freight Awarded as One of Birmingham Business Journal’s Best Places to Work

The Birmingham Business Journal has named Fetch Freight as one of the Best Places to Work in Birmingham award finalist.

According to the Birmingham Business Journal: “The Best Places to Work Awards recognize local employers that have gone above and beyond to create an outstanding workplace culture. The rankings are based on confidential surveys of employees that measure success in team dynamics, trust in leadership, communication and more, with only the top-scoring companies in the region earning the coveted right to be named one of the Best Places to Work.”

“The team here cares about one another, where coming into the office doesn’t always feel like work, but a fun and positive place to contribute and grow together,” says Mitchell Lewis, President & Founder. “As a family owned company, we care about employees like an extension of our family.”

Popular employee perks at Fetch Freight include catered lunches and cocktail hours, fully stocked snack closet complete with energy drinks, coffee bar, competitive benefits, 401K matching, bonus structure, and of course the golf simulator that is a crowd favorite. The leadership team notes focusing on long-term hiring, promoting within, to develop managers that can be trained and rewarded as they grow.

“We’re honored to be included, as we know Birmingham has some really great places to work,” says Lewis. “Within the office, we know Fetch is a great place to work, and it’s a feather in our cap to have that affirmation from such an esteemed source.”

The Birmingham Business Journal hosts the Best Places to Work event next week, where the Fetch team will gather and celebrate together.
