What are your payment terms for carriers? How and when can I expect to receive payment?
Payment terms are Net 30 days from the invoice received date. We also offer QuickPay at a 4% fee. QuickPay typically takes 1-2 business days to process, and payments are issued via ACH.

Do you offer any fuel or mileage reimbursement programs for carriers?
Fuel advances are available upon request at a 4% fee. To qualify for fuel advances a carrier must have an active MC for one year and move a minimum of three loads with Fetch Freight.

How do you handle disputes or issues that may arise during the transportation process?
We handle any disputes or issues on a case-by-case basis. Contact your account representative with any issues.

What is your process for onboarding new carriers and establishing a working relationship with them?
Our carriers are very important to us, and we’re eager to get each new relationship off to a strong start. Onboarding begins with a comprehensive vetting process. Prospective carriers are encouraged to sign up for the Fetch Network here.

How do you communicate with carriers regarding pickup, delivery, and any changes or updates to the shipment?
We are available 24/7 by phone or email. Changes to load requirements will be communicated in real-time to drivers and dispatchers assigned to each load. Reach out to your account representative with any issues, questions, or concerns.

What technology or systems do you use to track and monitor shipments?
We use MacroPoint and TextLocate to track and monitor shipments.

How do you handle the documentation and paperwork required for each shipment?
Paperwork for each shipment is handled by Accounts Payable. Please contact ap@fetchfreight.com with specific questions or concerns.

Are there any specific geographic regions or routes that you primarily operate in?
We ship in and out of the Continental United States as well as parts of Canada.

How do you handle situations where a shipment requires additional services, such as loading/unloading or storage?
We can offer lumper advances to drivers through EFS codes or rate confirmation reimbursements upon request with a valid receipt.

Are there any specific environmental or sustainability initiatives that carriers need to comply with?
Fetch Freight strongly encourages all carriers to participate in our SmartWay efforts. Contact your account representative to facilitate your SmartWay registration with the EPA.

How do you evaluate and assess the performance of carriers, and what criteria do you use for ongoing partnerships?
Carriers are evaluated on the following criteria:
– On-time pick-up and delivery metrics
– If volume commitments are honored
– Verification of dispatch ETA and location
– Willingness to comply with GPS tracking
– Accuracy of paperwork
– Invoicing on a timely basis
