Sarah Hefner Named Marketing Director Award Winner

The American Advertising Federation Birmingham Chapter (AAF Birmingham) named Sarah Hefner, Director of Marketing and Communications at Fetch Freight, as the Marketing Director Award Recipient at the 2024 Ten Awards. 

“The AAF Ten Awards aims to recognize exceptional advertising professionals who have made significant contributions to their organizations and clients. Sarah Hefner stood out among the many submissions that we received, highlighting her outstanding achievements” said David Sengkhammee, President of AAF Birmingham. 

Sarah has worked as a communications professional for 15 years managing multi-million-dollar accounts for Fortune 500 companies. Sarah has established phenomenal internal and external communications for Fetch Freight, including an internal newsletter affectionately known as The Fetch Tea, created a weekly industry-relevant internal team building news reel, successfully nominated Fetch individuals for the BBJ CEO of the Year award, Women in Supply Chain award, and Pros to Know 2024 Award. Sarah has launched a webinar series, partnering with industry leaders ACT Research and Isometric Technologies (ISO) to position Fetch as industry thought leaders.  Sarah Hefner is a Jane of All Trades, leading her peers, colleagues and family with confidence, creativity, and expertise. 

AAF Birmingham’s Ten Award recipients were honored at a reception last week at the Shipt Tower, an evening dedicated to honoring the unsung heroes who make up the backbone of the advertising industry.  

The American Advertising Federation protects and promotes the wellbeing of advertising through a nationally coordinated grassroots network of brands, agencies, media companies, local advertising clubs and college chapters. The AAF has more than 150 local clubs across the U.S. representing nearly 35,000 advertising professionals, connecting and leading the industry.
