Fetch Freight 2022 In Review

Fetch Freight tripled annual revenue last year, from $7.7 million in 2021 to $23 million in 2022. A rising national leader and freight brokerage, Fetch Freight moved approximately 10,000 shipments in 2022 across North America for customers of all sizes, including Fortune 500 shippers, with above-industry-average metrics of 99.8% customer retention and 96.5% on time delivery in full. Also of note, the brokerage implemented Fetch IQ, the AI-driven customized TMS program which uses the power of AI-automation to optimize shipping options for maximum efficiency and minimized costs, combined with market insights and hands-on expertise for proactive problem solving and the best customer service experience.

Within the last twelve months, Fetch Freight added 20 new employees, including recent graduates from UAB, Auburn, Montevallo, and Samford. Fetch Freight has built relationships with major universities in the state to support their Supply Chain Management programs and established involvement in campus engagement opportunities, sending executives as guest speakers within the classroom, shadow days, and launching a paid internship program to support the students pursuing careers in the industry, with students from Auburn and Montevallo interning in the office for hands-on experience.

Headquartered in Birmingham, AL, in a recently renovated historic 150-year-old building, formerly one of the oldest warehouses in Jefferson County, Fetch Freight is committed to growing from its home base rather than rushing to expand to additional geographies, based in this city for this city — bringing revenues, employees and growth to its hometown.
