Fetch Freight Named a Birmingham Business Journal Best Places to Work

Fetch Freight has been named a 2026 Best Places to Work by the Birmingham Business Journal, earning the recognition for the third consecutive year.

The annual awards program recognizes Birmingham-area companies that demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace culture and employee experience. Winners are selected based on confidential employee feedback evaluating areas such as leadership, communication, collaboration, and overall satisfaction.

The 2026 honorees were celebrated at the Birmingham Business Journal’s Best Places to Work event held on July 23.

“Being recognized as a Best Places to Work for the third year in a row is especially meaningful because it reflects the experience our team has every day,” said Mitchell Lewis, President and Founder of Fetch Freight. “As we’ve grown, we’ve worked hard to protect the culture that brought us here — one built on accountability, collaboration, and genuinely caring about each other. We’re proud of the team we’ve built and grateful for the people who continue to make Fetch what it is.”

Since its founding in 2020, Fetch Freight has focused on building a culture where employees are encouraged to grow, collaborate, and take ownership in the company’s success.

As the company continues to expand, leadership remains committed to maintaining the team-oriented environment that has been central to Fetch’s identity.

Employees enjoy a variety of workplace benefits and experiences, including catered lunches, team events, a fully stocked snack closet and coffee bar, and an office golf simulator. Fetch also offers competitive benefits, 401(k) matching, and performance-based bonuses while continuing to invest in employee development and long-term career growth.

“We’re proud of the culture our team continues to build every day,” Lewis said. “This recognition is a reflection of the people who make Fetch a great place to work and the way they support each other across the organization.”
